Recorded weight will be shown to contestant. NO WEIGHT MAY BE PROTESTED AFTER THIS TIME.
5: Fish must be alive to be weighed. No stringers are allowed. A kayak live well or a mesh bag to keep fish to be weighed in is required. You may keep fish, but the weigh boat crews must be notified and fins will be clipped after the fish are submitted for weight. All “stringer fin clipped fish must be kept separate from fish to be weighed.
6: ARTIFICIAL BAIT ONLY. Artificial scents and sauces are allowed.
7: TOURNAMENT BOUNDARIES: It basically includes the area from the northwest corner of Mission Bay starting near the Catamaran Hotel and covering most of the "Sail Bay" portion of Mission Bay. The south boundary is a line drawn from Bahia Point east to the dock at Paradise Point on Vacation Village Island. You can fish under the north Ingraham street bridge, but you cannot go beyond it. The course has been expanded further south for current Tournaments and we now allow some cove fishing. This is our first One Design Tournament. All contestants must fish from a Cobra Fish n Dive. If you do not have a Fish n Dive you can charter one for the day for an additional $15.
The boundaries may be adjusted on the day of the tournament due to conditions, number of fishermen and availability of volunteer weigh boat crews.
8: No trolling motors allowed. Fish finders will be allowed for this tournament.
