Adam's largest fish was a 1 lb 14 oz Spotted Bay Bass.
Even with the worst possible weather conditions, 59
of the 69 pre registered anglers set out in a driving rain
storm to compete in this bass event. Because of the
adverse weather, which included high winds, frequent
strong showers and unseasonably cold temperatures,
Paul Fisher decided to end the event at 1pm rather than
the scheduled 3pm close. In spite of the early close there
were still 99 weighable fish caught, including a nice size
3 pound 5 oz Spotted Bay Bass. There were no legal size
Halibut caught, so the new Explorer Kayak Prize passes
on to the June 2001 Tournament.
