Eric, who caught 6 weighable fish had finished in a tie for fifth with Jim Henley. Eric won the tie breaker with the largest fish. The largest Bass caught in the tournament was a two pound 12 oz Spotted Bay Bass caught by Ritchie Takatsuka.

Thanks to our main sponsor, Cobra Kayaks for their continued support. Also thank you to Ballast Point Brewery for their generosity, Point Sails for the flag display, M2O Marine for place award and raffle prizes, Mission Bay Sport Center for use of their Scout Bow Rider weigh in boat, Bill Hokstad and Adam Kimmerly for donating the use of their personal fishing boats for additional
weigh in boats. Having three weigh in / chase boats really makes a difference! Thanks to our own Bryan Palle for doing such a great job running the tournament and finally thanks to Beth Mattison, Elliot Fisher, Adam Kimmerly and anyone I may have missed for spending their entire day weighing in fish. Also to the many competitors like Ed Whited and Brian Lloyd who take time to help out in many ways at just about every tournament.
